Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to be delighted with your order. With that in mind, we choose, create, describe, list, and package our items with the utmost attention & care. We love our little shop, and hope you will too. This Return Policy applies to all platforms. Some Social Media platforms generalize & truncate policies. Some items are excluded from return eligibility. 
1. If your family has special guidelines for gift purchases, please inquire about product ingredients & construction prior to making your purchase. We do not accept returns on several products, including stuffed animals. 
2. Change of mind returns will not be accepted.
3. Google listings: Google blends "product" imagery & descriptions from listings across the internet, so please verify our product details on our website for the most accurate information about our products. is not responsible for inaccurate product information listed by others on the internet. Accurate attention to detail is very important to us. Please let us know if you have any other questions about our products. 
We recommend that you send us a note upon receipt of your order, just to let us know it has safely arrived...and that you LOVE it...but if something isn't right, please let us know asap, so we can help. Our return policy is as follows:
1. Returns must be made within 30 days of receiving your order. 
2. Merchandise must be in its original condition with original tags attached and all original packaging and other components included, accompanied by the original receipt/invoice, or gift receipt. Merchandise must not be used, worn, altered, or washed.
3. Full-price merchandise may be returned for a refund, or exchange within 30 days of the delivery date, with some exceptions.
4. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.
5. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

Sale items are non-refundable
Vintage & Estate items are sold "as is," are final sale, and non-refundable, including, but not limited to, vintage clothing and accessories, including scarves, jewelry, china, glassware, pottery, electronics, furniture, and home decor. Patina, crazing, chippy paint, etc...are part of the character of some vintage & estate items. We do our best to carefully photograph, and describe each item in our collection, and only choose things for our store that we would cherish in our own homes. Please ask any questions before placing your order. 
Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines
Health, personal care items, and cosmetics
Hair accessories
Stuffed animals, blankets & other cloth baby products
Fabric, ribbon, yarn and other supplies by the yard

Gift Cards & E-Gift Cards
All international purchases are final sale and non-refundable. No returns or exchanges will be accepted.
Store credits, e-gift cards, and gift cards cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
Shipping fees are non-refundable 
We do not price match, or honor price adjustments.
Newsletter sign-up discount does not apply to custom orders.
In order to receive the newsletter sign-up discount at checkout, the same email address must be used to checkout, that was used to sign up for the newsletter. 
Promotional/discount codes cannot be applied to past purchases for a price adjustment.
We do not accept returns on items damaged by normal wear and tear, or customer alteration.


Defective or Damaged Items:

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
To complete your return, we require a receipt, or proof of purchase, and a Return Authorization Number. Please contact us immediately if there is something wrong with your order, so we can help you. 
If you have received a defective or damaged product, we will cover the return & replacement shipping charges if applicable. Please note that all defective items are subject to inspection. All claims regarding defective/incorrect orders must be reported to prior to shipping return items. 
Pack your return merchandise securely (in the original packaging if possible) and include a copy of your invoice with your name, email address, phone number, and the Return Authorization Number we issued for your return. 
  • If you wish to exchange your item, please let us know which item/color/size you wish to receive in exchange. We will reply to acknowledge the availability of the new items you wish to order. Many of our items are limited in number, so replacement sizes, or colors may not be available.

  • Please indicate which items you are returning/exchanging and the reason for return, including damages, or defects, if applicable.

  • Boldly write the Order Number on the front of the box so that it is easily visible.

  • The Little Red Shop reserves the right to deny a refund if the merchandise does not meet our Return and Exchange Policy.

The Little Red Shop Retail Store Purchases: 

The Little Red Shop gladly accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged or defective merchandise in its original packaging, with tags attached, purchased in our retail store for full refund or exchange within 30 days of original purchase, with some exceptions.
Requests for refund or exchange must be accompanied by the original receipt.
Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment, unless we agree to credit a different payment type.
Requests to exchange merchandise received as a gift must be accompanied by a gift receipt.
Requests to exchange or return merchandise purchased with a gift card, or e-gift card must be accompanied by the gift card receipt, or the printed e-gift card email. Gift cards & e-gift cards are not eligible for any cash refund. If a return request is approved, The Little Red Shop will issue a store credit. 
Partially used gift cards & e-gift cards are not eligible for any cash refund. 
Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. (Please see our list of other non-refundable items.)
The Little Red Shop retail store purchases can only be returned/exchanged in our retail store. The Little Red Shop will accept approved returns of purchases; however, shipping charges are non-refundable and all return policy requirements apply.

The Little Red Shop Phone, Internet, and In-Store Orders:
Returns will not be accepted without authorization. Please contact us immediately if there is a problem with your order. Return shipping is at the customer's expense, unless something is wrong with your order. 

Approved merchandise may be returned for a full refund, exchange, or store credit within 30 days after purchase.
Requests to exchange or return merchandise purchased with a gift card, or e-gift card must be accompanied by the gift card receipt, or the printed e-gift card email. Gift cards & e-gift cards are not eligible for any cash refund. If a return request is approved, The Little Red Shop will issue a store credit.

Customer receipt or proof of purchase is required for all exchanges and/or returns.

Local Pick Up:
We are currently offering local curbside pick up of some online orders, by appointment. All merchandise must be collected within 7 days of purchase. Please contact us before making your purchase if you are not able to pick up an item within 7 days, so we can make arrangements. We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone, so please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you.
Exchanges (if applicable):
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged, and the product is still available. If you wish to exchange a purchase for the same item, please send us an email at, and see the "returns" portion of this policy for further instructions. 
Shipping & Handling costs are non-refundable.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless there was something wrong with your order. Shipping costs are non-refundable. You may opt to use an insured delivery service, as cannot accept responsibility for items not received or damaged in transit.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Refunds (if applicable):

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card, or original method of payment, or your exchange item will be processed and shipped within a certain amount of days.
We want happy customers, so we really do our best to source, present, and carefully ship our products to you, and your loved ones. Please read all of our terms, and product descriptions carefully, and let us know if you have any questions, before placing your order.
